The Cerifera AKA: Moroccan Fan palm, Blue Mediterranean. Is related to the more common Chamarops Humilis. They are native to the Atlas Mountains of Morocco in North Africa. They are believed to be more cold tolerant then the more common Greener Chamarops. PalmScape's experience with this palm is that they are not as wet tolerant. They seem to prefer desert conditions  as is their native habitat. 



Palmscape stocks this palm in larger sizes due to the slow growing nature of the palm. And because we cannot grow them very well in our Boring Oregon growing grounds, they are imported from dryer growing areas. One gallon material can be ordered in, allow a couple extra days.



Notice the blue fronds as opposed to the green in the more common species.
